Tumalo Falls from viewing area

HOPS: Immersion Brewing and Atlas Cider

We started our hike at the Tumalo Falls parking area, a short drive from downtown Bend. The falls itself is visible from the parking/viewing area and does not require a hike to see, but if you want to get closer, there are several routes that will lead you up the mountain, toward the falls to the upper viewpoint and beyond. The impressive 89 foot waterfall is the largest in the Bend area and worth the side trip. 

Bend is the ultimate Hike & Hops town, with more breweries than you could possibly sample in a day. Since Immersion Brewing and Atlas Cider where on the same block, we decided to do a round of tasters at both. 

For extra credit, we also checked out Wanderlust's Brews and Views Canoe tour, which was a ton of fun! We met with the group early afternoon and drove to one of the Cascade Lakes. After a short canoe float to another shore, we tasted several beers. All equipment and beer was provided!
